 Songwriter Worshipper These are a few of the words used to describe Gail Fly. She is a woman of God that loves the Lord with her whole heart and whose passion is to see God's people tap into the next dimension of worship.
Her debut album, "Who Will Worship?” released in 2007, has been awarded the 2009 Rhythm of Gospel Awards “Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year” and was also nominated for "Praise & Worship Album of the Year". To God Be The Glory!
Gail believes 2009 to be The Year of Manifestation for the people of God. In her own words, "Things we have waited for, prayed, hoped and believed God for are about to be released to us; as we have waited with much patience, continuing in the things of God, still trusting, having faith and knowing without a shadow of a doubt that God shall do everything He promised!"
Born Belinda Gail Vickers in New Orleans, Louisiana, Gail is the second of three children born to Odell & Doris Vickers Sr. She is the wife of Evangelist Albert E. Fly, Sr. Together, they have one son, Albert E. Fly, Jr. Gail believes her first ministry is to her husband and family – then to others. Gail and her husband serve faithfully under the leadership of Pastor Barbara Rogers, Founder and Overseer of One Way Deliverance Ministries in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Raised in the Church of God in Christ, Gail's parent's were sure to give her a spiritual foundation in holiness that has carried her through many tests and struggles in her life; most profoundly, the devastation of the City of New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Today, Gail's testimony is most assuredly and without wavering in her faith, “God can do anything!”
In addition to her music ministry, Gail is a Human Resource consultant and co-founder of F&L Professional Services. She is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a Concentration in Human Resources. Gail is also President and Founder of Raising the Standard Music, LLC.
Gail's sophomore project, "In His Presence", is scheduled to be released in 2010. |
